Happy Canada Day!!! This is a wonderful day to live in West Vancouver as there is a wonderful schedule of events today at John Lawson Park.

6:00–6:50 p.m. WVYB
6:50–7:00 p.m. singing of O Canada

10:30 p.m. Fireworks display

There will be two simultaneous fireworks shows, one off the shores of West Vancouver (John Lawson Park) and one in the waterway between Canada Place and North Vancouver. The 25-minute spectacular display is viewable from multiple locations along the inlet including; West Vancouver (Ambleside and Dundarave), North Vancouver, Coal Harbour and Stanley Park. This pyro-musical starts at 10:30 p.m. and will be simulcast on Classic Rock 101.

Make sure to get down early, perhaps grab a bite to eat at one of the many fabulous restaurants and eateries that Dundarave and Ambleside have to offer, and relax on the shores of the Seawall to take in this great event! Enjoy and be safe.

Best regards,
